Arb Innovators?
We're based in Nottingham but operate throughout the UK. We are not stuffy consultants; we are personable and authentic, and take great pride in not only adopting an innovative approach compared to others, but also our high standards.
Time to get to know us
Founded in December 2023, we had one simple goal - to be a disruptive, digitally native arboricultural consultancy which utilises innovative technologies to deliver greater clarity and insights to traditional tree surveys and reports, transforming them into a strategic tool.
Our team of Innovators (including our trusted partners) provide professional, approachable and friendly arboricultural services. We work with a range of clients across the UK including homeowners, local authorities, architects, developers, land owners, and importantly - other consultants in our industry as a trusted subcontractor in our own right!
NOVEMBER 2023
Arb Innovators was formed. In November 2023 we started a digitally native Arboricultural Consultancy with the ambition of being a disruptive force - producing accurate tree surveys enhanced by innovative technologies, supported by clear, concise tree reports.
JANUARY 2024
We started trading properly in January 2024. We started to convey our message, marketing our services as a Consultancy using innovative technology and combining tools such as drones, photogrammetry, and artificial intelligence to make complex data and tree reports easier to understand.
DECEMBER 2024
We've completed close to 100 Tree Surveys and prepared just as many reports. We're a relatively young consultancy, a start up, but don't be fooled, we have huge ambitions and an insatiable drive to provide something different!
We're committed to advancing arboriculture through a different response. We combine advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, drones, photogrammetry and 3D modelling alongside our in-depth knowledge and experience in arboriculture and tree management, to provide innovative arboricultural solutions to help better inform you, the local planning authority, and your trees needs.

We strive to reply to all enquiries within 24 hours of receipt and provide free, no-obligation quotes, promptly! We also appreciate that time is of the essence and we undertake tree surveys within 5-10 working days from date of instruction. But more importantly, we communicate! Like you, we've worked with (and for) consultants who are simply terrible at communicating - so we ensure we do better.

Our team
CALLUM THROW | MANAGING DIRECTOR
Callum Throw is the Managing Director and Principal Arboricultural Consultant at Arb Innovators Ltd. Possessing over 15 years’ experience within the arboricultural industry, Callum has over 10 years experience as a consultant, including 6+ years occupying Senior Management and Team Lead roles and providing technical advice on arboricultural issues with a specialism in Urban Forestry and trees in relation to development (BS5837:2012).
Callum holds a Diploma (N.Dip) in Arboriculture (Triple Distinction), is a Lantra Certified Professional Tree Inspector (PTI), VALID Tree Risk-Benefit VALIDator, and a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association (MArborA). He is also our Chief Drone Pilot and passionate photogrammetry advocate.
He has worked with clients including the Woodland Trust, Environment Agency, and NHS, local authorities including Leeds City Council, Kirklees Council, and large housebuilders including Taylor Wimpey, Barratt David Wilson, Persimmon Homes, and Avant Homes.
KATIE LEWIS | GRADUATE CONSULTANT
Katie is our Graduate Arboricultural Consultant. With a BSc (Hons) in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science, and hands-on experience across arboriculture and horticultural advisory work, habitat management, and ecological surveying, Katie is passionate about nature conservation.
Recognised for her excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, from school groups to members of the public and environmental partners, she brings a proactive approach to learning, strong attention to detail, and robust commitment to supporting high-quality arboricultural practice, sustainable land management, and the enhancement of natural environments.
Katie is also a Technical Member of the Arboricultural Association (TechArborA).
